We have seen a huge number of bikes come in with VERY LOW TIRE PRESSURE! Set your tires pressures! You will be amazed how much better your bike works with proper tire pressures on board!

FIRST SERVICE SPECIAL CONTINUES – for the foreseeable future, we will be offering your first service on ANY brand of bike for just $135. Don’t get duped into thinking there is more to it than there really is. Its an oil change and a once over, with a few of the standard checks we do to EVERY bike we look at. Cruiser, standard, sportbike, all makes, bring it in!
Track days – We have partnered with a few providers to provide a SAFE, fun alternative to the racer filled crash fests that happen at most track days. inquire via email for more info!

Not sure why the weather gods have been playing games with us here in So Cal for so many weeks… Sunny and 70 all week only to rain Friday or Saturday, just enough to dampen the Sunday ride. Has made MSC a bit of a dirt bike shop in the last few weeks, which is fun, but as much as I love riding dirtbike, I prefer the action in the canyons, and at the track!
Which means… Track season is almost here, and we have a pre-order special on Dunlop Tires! Dunlop Sportmax Q2 tires, $245 a set, plus tax. If you walk away with them or have them mounted here. I said $245 a set! !20/70/17 and the proper 190/55/17 rear tire. We get these in groups of 20, so you need to pre-order them and leave a deposit on your rubber, but the price cant be beat for new Dunlops (not old stock like some other places sell)

Guys its time to get things going! The rain is letting up and things are looking great for an incredible year for 2013!
Typical to So Cal, the cold isn’t that cold, and there is barely any rain, and zero snow, so its time to drag out your wheels and come for a ride!
A couple of things to think about before you go out –
1) Set your tire pressure
2) Clean and Lube your chain
3) Adjust your throttle cables for nearly zero slack
4) Adjust your levers and bleed your brakes
5) Set your chain tension
6) Change your oil
7) Clean and inspect your air filter
8) Install new spark plugs
9) Inspect your steering head bearings
Just a few hours in your garage can make the difference between a safe fun ride and a trip to the hospital with a crashed bike. We know not everyone can do this, so we offer to you a “Almost time to ride” Special in the hopes of drawing that super Eco Friendly Motorbike out of the garage and back on the road! One year anniversary coming up… Hard to think that it was just a year ago that we opened Motorcycle Service Centers, and how rapidly it has grown!! I love the preparation to open our next locations and the planning and expanding! AWESOME!

The shop is OPEN to accept new work and pick up completed work on Dec 27/28 and jan 2nd and 3rd. The week following we resume our normal business hours, six days a week, and by appointment.
We will also be offering full pickup and delivery service during these days, so please call or email for an appointment!

We recently directed one of our regular clients to a local dealership to purchase a new bike. He did, walking away with his own xmas present, a 2012 Yamaha FZ1. The sales tool at that place broke the law and violated the Song/Beverly act and told him that he could ONLY HAVE HIS NEW BIKE SERVICED AT THE DEALERSHIP, or IT VOIDED THE WARRANTY!
First, this is patently untrue. You can do each and every service at home, and it cannot, BY LAW, effect your warranty in any way. Your warranty does not cover the serviceable parts on your bike, only the mechanical ones, so that too is a non issue. The SB act was put into place to prevent dealers from selling a car or bike cheaply and then requiring the buyer to have the car/bike serviced there and make back all the discount plus a mint, as they did in the 50s/60′s.
With this all in mind, and with a deep understanding of the reputations of our local dealers and their service departments, we are extending our FIRST SERVICE SPECIAL for the foreseeable future. $135 for your first service on ANY AND EVERY NEW STREET BIKE, INCLUDING THE OIL AND FILTER! Lets face it, the first service is mostly just a glorified oil change and once over, so why pay dealership rates, when you can have a better job done here for less money? Kinda a slam dunk, right? Did we mention that we use K&N oil filters and Maxima oil? Not the cheap junk from a 55 gallon drum? Well now you know.
So $135 Out The Door for your 600mi service, thru 2014. Bring it on guys!
